This recipe takes about 20 minutes to make.


  • 225g mustard seeds
  • 300ml white wine vinegar
  • 60ml honey
  • 2.5cm cinnamon stick


  1. Place the mustard seeds, vinegar and cinnamon in a mixing bowl,
    soak for 6-8 hours.
  2. Transfer mixture to a mortar and pestle together with the honey and pound until it becomes a stiff paste
    adding a little vinegar if necessary.
  3. Transfer to the sterilized jars, cover and seal.
  4. Store in the fridge
